Could not believe how well maintained the golf course was. Each hole was unique, memorable, and challenging in its own way. Our group pretty much consisted of bogey golfers and it was perfect for us. Highly recommend renting their ATV's. Plenty of trails to explore and it was maybe the most fun part of the long weekend. The lodge is huge, the grounds (and lodge) are beautiful, and the owners are super nice people. Every single person in my group had a blast. Very glad we were able to experience Ponderosa Lodge and Golf and we would definitely love to stay here again! My ONLY criticism (and the only reason I can't rate 5 stars) was that the greens aren't mowed short enough, so you had to SLAM putts to get them to the hole. Other than that, this is a wonderful golf experience. The owners are SUPER nice and friendly! EDIT: We have since been back and the greens are much better! It was a great experience and we are grateful we chose to stay here. The lodge was clean, well cared for, and had plenty of space for our large group. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and serve our meals. The beds were comfortable and the main room was large enough for our group to gather. There were plenty of activities and exploring that we could do. Everyone loved the pond! They even had kayaks and life vests available that we could use. We rented ATV's and had a great time riding all the trails throughout the property. It gave us a chance to see the full beauty of the large acreage. We had several golfers in our group and they enjoyed spending part of the day on the greens. Fun course for them and challenging enough that they enjoyed doing it several days in a row.
